TRIAL OF XviD MOVIES (12th September 2006)
My Nisis DV6 Camcorder is quite small and convenient to carry around, producing very good short movies and still photos, and also playing MP3 audio files.

I have now started adding these movies to the website as a trial. The format of the movie files is XviD. This is a form of MPEG-4 video which combines good quality with small file size, but requires that your computer has the XviD codec installed, which is simple enough.

The suffix of the files is *****.avi which is a bit confusing.


The trial movie is:

060930ab.avi Play the movie. If the movie doesn't work then you need the XviD codec.

www.xvidmovies.com Get information on XviD and download the codec. Save it then install it.

Make sure you look for the XviD codec, not the DivX codec. The XviD codec runs DivX movies too.
